Men have a vital and defining role in the life of any church. How they lead, not only in their words but also with lives that are driven and compelled by the Word of God to be present spiritual leaders in their homes, workplaces, leisure activity and especially in their home church. The reality of a need for God's men to take a firm stand upon what He Himself has called us to be is more apparent in our time than ever before. This is not merely a call for conservative opinion, but a command to live righteously upon a foundation of Scripture that is a direct affront to the nature of culture that threatens to seep into Christendom.
Here as a church family and band of brothers, we seek to not only call Christian men to morality but Godliness. There must be a priority for us to take seriously the call of the Gospel to live out and love God's Word.
We have a men's group called "The Barracks" that meets bi-weekly and seeks to gird up men to righteousness. This is a place for us to come together, immerse ourselves in challenging conversation driven by the study of the Word of God. Our prayer is that the legacy we build will be one of strong and steadfast families that are captivated by the mission of Christ and guarded by the truths we see in Scripture.
