Missions

The heartbeat of the Christian commission is to see the Gospel News of Christ go unto all the world. Missions, by our definition begins in the home. The first mission field for any individual is their own family, through Gospel living and dedication to live like Christ for all to see. Out of this work comes the desire and confidence to live for God everywhere else such as school, work and the community.
Here at Airline our aim is continually train up not just ourselves but the generations coming after us to be mindful of the way they are on mission and to see the sending out of faithful followers of Christ to the mission field in both the everyday life and extraordinary call of missions of foreign and domestic nature.

The Lottie Moon Christmas offering is one of the most wonderful ways that we as Southern Baptists have rallied around and supported International Mission work for nearly 140 years. Lottie was born in Virginia in 1840 and was an incredibly impactful missionary to China. Due to her impact this offering has helped spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ to nations all over the world through thousands of missionaries.
